REDUCED RISK: THE EQUIVALENT WEIGHT

MOVI’s sensors recognise each lift and deliver powered assistance only when the operator is lifting: no resistance while walking, reaching, or idle. We quantify that assistance using the equivalent weight method, developed with the Italian Institute of Technology: it measures how much MOVI reduces the effective load on a given lifting task. A 15 kg lift, made to feel like considerably less. Measured, not asserted.
