The number one complaint was the overall weight.
Our very first MOVI weighed little less then 10kg and over time we successfully shaved off small and large chunks, resulting in our current version which now weighs as little as 4.5kg, making it the lightest powered exoskeleton to fight fatigue and prevent low back pain doing physically demanding work.

Space around the body:
One of the other major improvements we made was to reduce the envelope of the exoskeleton around the body, the width of the exoskeleton was reduced by a total of 2.2cm, meaning less risk of bumping into or getting stuck behind objects on the workfloor.

Heat build up:
Wearing an exoskeleton means that there are contact points with the body, like when wearing a back pack.
These contact points increase the heat build. Searching for solutions we not only decreased the surface of the contact area, we also started experimenting with different fabrics and strategically placed 3D printed accessories, resulting in the reduction of heat build up and less sweating by the user.

Algorithms:
With every user, we are able to use the data that our sensorized exoskeleton gathers to improve our proprietary algorithms. The algorithms are designed to give support to the user only when it is needed, rather than contant.

Upstream Prevention:
This data is not only used to improve our product, it is also used to help you to reduce absenteeism, due to (low) back pain or worse. We are able to identify risky work postures and notify you in time to take mitigative actions.
