Proteso is a spin-off of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). Our team spent a decade there building exoskeleton technology and studying its physiological effects: R&D that started in 2013 and became Proteso in 2022. Proteso è uno spin-off dell'Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). Il nostro team vi ha trascorso un decennio a sviluppare tecnologie per esoscheletri e a studiarne gli effetti fisiologici: un lavoro di R&S iniziato nel 2013 e diventato Proteso nel 2022.

We designed several generations of exoskeletons for different applications. Now we are turning them into accessible products: intuitive to use and comfortable to wear. On warehouse floors, assembly lines, and field sites, workers lift, bend, and carry for eight hours a day. Low-back pain is the world's single largest cause of disability, and most of it is preventable. We founded Proteso to prevent it.Nei magazzini, sulle linee di montaggio e nei cantieri, gli operatori sollevano, si piegano e trasportano per otto ore al giorno.
